What it can do

Written by Robotheca from the project's documents.

  • RP1 is a humanoid robot; the repository holds its hardware design and manufacturing files.
  • Two robot configurations are documented: 5DOF with MotionHead and 7DOF with MotionHead.
  • The documents do not describe the robot's motions, tasks or control modes in detail.

Wiring and electronics

Notes written by Robotheca from the project's documents.

Main parts

  • Fourteen RoboParty PCB boards are documented, including a RK3588S main board (RBE-MAIN-RK3588S) and a BACKHUB power board.
  • Other boards include a 433 MHz communication board (RBE-COMM-433TX), an IMU sensor board (RBE-SENS-IMU), and power boards for head, hand, fan, hot-swap and charging.
  • A flexible FPC board, a lamp board and a rear power indicator board are also included.
  • The harness documents mention an 18AWG silicone power cable with XT30 connector for the main controller power supply.

Connections

  • Wiring harnesses are documented as 42 harness types listed in a harness BOM, with drawings for each.
  • The main controller power cable uses an 18AWG soft silicone wire with an XT30 male connector and a finished length of 120±5 mm.
  • The documents do not describe the detailed pin-level connections between boards.
