What it can do
Written by Robotheca from the project's documents.
- Hexapod spider robot with six legs, each leg built from several printed segments and a servo joint.
- Legs include micro switch holders for leg feedback, which suggests contact sensing at the leg tips.
- Designed for airborne testing on a stand, with one leg mounted to a stand for benchtop operation.

Wiring and electronics
Notes written by Robotheca from the project's documents.
Main parts
- Servo motors, with frame and leg servo holders sized for them.
- Micro switches in each leg for leg feedback.
- 2S LiPo battery held in the power compartment.
- Controller board such as a Raspberry Pi or Servo 2040, held on a controller plate.
Connections
- Electronics plate sits between the power compartment and the frame, holding the electronics in place.
- Controller plate can be attached to the electronics plate or the middle carapace.
