What it does
- Drives unipolar and bipolar stepper motors through several common motor controller modules.
- Drives brushed DC motors through common motor controller modules and transistor control.
- Controls servos with software PWM via rpi-lgpio or RPi.GPIO, or hardware PWM via pigpio on older Pi models.
- Includes an emergency stop push button class for halting motor movement.
- Chooses its GPIO backend at runtime from an environment variable, a config file or auto-detection.
- Ships example scripts, including multi-threaded examples for running two steppers at once.
