What it does
- Runs micro-ROS on ESP32, ESP32-S2, ESP32-S3, ESP32-C3 and ESP32-C6 chips, tested with ESP-IDF v5.4, v5.5 and v6.0.
- Uses eProsima Micro XRCE-DDS as the default middleware; an embeddedRTPS option is listed but marked as currently not working.
- Defaults to UDP transport, with UART serial transport and custom transports available through colcon.meta settings.
- Added to a project through the IDF Component Manager or by cloning the repository into the components folder.
- Ships an int32_publisher example, configured via idf.py menuconfig and flashed with idf.py.
