What it does
- Bundles compressed_image_transport, compressed_depth_image_transport, zstd_image_transport and theora_image_transport.
- Compressed transport plugins reduce the bandwidth needed to send image messages between ROS 2 nodes.
- Compressed_depth_image_transport handles depth images.
- Zstd_image_transport uses ZSTD compression.
- Theora_image_transport uses the Theora codec.
- Each plugin is built and tested against several ROS 2 distributions, from Humble to Rolling.
