What it does

  • Computes joint angles so the end effector reaches a given (x, y) position, with up to 3 degrees of freedom.
  • Adding a rotating base extends movement to (x, y, z) coordinates with up to 4 degrees of freedom.
  • Lets you specify a desired end effector angle, useful for picking objects from different orientations.
  • Allows adjusting the gripping offset to suit a chosen gripper or approach objects from specific angles.
  • Described as as fast as analytical solvers while allowing arbitrary joint configurations.

Robots that can run it

No robot on Robotheca is linked to it yet. Links come from a robot's robot.yaml, from its dependency files read as text, or from Robotheca's editors.

Robotheca lists software as a reference: nothing is hosted or run here, and every fact links to where it was read.
