What it does

  • Edits robot kinematic trees with link and joint topology tools, without hand-writing raw XML.
  • Authors visual and collision meshes, measurements, and collision optimization strategies.
  • Configures motors, transmission ratios, damping, friction, and other hardware metadata.
  • Imports single files, folders, ZIP bundles, and .usp project archives into a workspace.
  • Assembles multiple robots into one workspace using bridge joints and components.
  • Exports to URDF, MJCF, USD, SDF, Xacro, CSV/BOM, PDF, ZIP and .usp archives.

Getting started

Difficulty
Beginner
Hardware it needs, as the project states it
Node.js 18 or newer and npm, plus a modern Chromium-based browser for local USD validation. USD loading requires a cross-origin isolated page (SharedArrayBuffer), so HTTPS or localhost access is needed.

Robots that can run it

No robot on Robotheca is linked to it yet. Links come from a robot's robot.yaml, from its dependency files read as text, or from Robotheca's editors.

Robotheca lists software as a reference: nothing is hosted or run here, and every fact links to where it was read.
