Commercial use
Unknown

It needs closed parts under their own terms: read them before any commercial use.

One part it needs is closed

  • Needs CRC helpers (prebuilt): Two precompiled crc_*.so helpers ship without source; a pure-Python fallback in the same file runs without them.

What it does

  • Maintains the same data structures and control methods as the unitree_sdk2 interface, with request-response or topic publish/subscribe.
  • Includes a DDS publisher/subscriber example for sending custom data structures between programs.
  • Provides high-level status reading and motion control, such as standing up, lying down, velocity, attitude, and trajectory tests.
  • Provides low-level status reading and motor control, where high-level motion service must be turned off first.
  • Reads the wireless controller key status and the front camera feed through OpenCV.
  • Includes examples for switching obstacle avoidance and adjusting volume and light brightness.

Getting started

Difficulty
Intermediate
Hardware it needs, as the project states it
Requires Python 3.8 or newer, cyclonedds 0.10.2, numpy and opencv-python, and a robot connected through a network interface. The front camera example needs a system with a graphical interface.

Robots that can run it

No robot on Robotheca is linked to it yet. Links come from a robot's robot.yaml, from its dependency files read as text, or from Robotheca's editors.

Robotheca lists software as a reference: nothing is hosted or run here, and every fact links to where it was read.
