What it does
- Defines standard ROS 2 messages, services, and actions for controlling and querying simulators.
- Provides a generic Result message for handling service responses, which may later be promoted or folded into the service mechanism.
- Recommends implementing GetSimulatorFeatures first so users can see which standard interfaces a simulator supports.
- Asks implementers to keep Get and Set parts of a feature consistent with each other.
- Lists several optional utility interfaces as lower priority, such as entity bounds, named poses, spawnables, and world loading.
