What it does
- Provides FOC control for BLDC and stepper motors, aimed at supporting many motor, sensor, driver and microcontroller combinations.
- Installable through the Arduino IDE Library Manager, PlatformIO, or by cloning the repository.
- Supports velocity, position and torque control modes, including open-loop, closed-loop, and estimated-current control.
- Runs on Arduino boards, STM32, ESP32, Teensy, RP2040/RP2350, SAMD, MBED and Silabs microcontrollers.
- Includes a configuration and monitoring GUI tool, SimpleFOCStudio, for real-time tuning and monitoring over serial.
- Offers example sketches, such as a velocity control example for a BLDC motor with an encoder.
