What it does

  • Parses IMU, AHRS, INS and GNSS data from SBG devices and publishes it as standard ROS 2 messages and SBG-specific topics.
  • Forwards RTCM correction streams to the device's internal GNSS receiver to enable DGPS or RTK positioning.
  • Runs an on-board 2D or 3D magnetometer calibration on ELLIPSE devices, triggered through ROS 2 services.
  • Configures ELLIPSE products from YAML files; configuration from ROS is limited for other INS models.
  • Supports ENU or NED frame conventions, with standard ROS 2 messages published only in ENU.
  • Can publish NMEA GGA sentences from the internal GNSS for use with third-party NTRIP clients.
