What it does
- Adds a display plugin to RViz2 for rendering 3D Gaussian Splats.
- Renders large scenes, with an example of a robot arm scene containing 6 million splats.
- Draws transparent markers together with Gaussian splats.
- Offers an order-independent transparency mode (WBOIT) under the Advanced options, meant to skip sorting on weak hardware.
- Includes an evaluation script that computes PSNR, SSIM and LPIPS between reference and evaluated image folders.
- Installation via apt is listed as under development.
