What it does
- Simulates rotary-wing UAV dynamics using lumped-parameter aerodynamic effects, which matter most at high airspeed or in strong wind.
- Includes a fast, non-photorealistic pinhole camera sensor that projects visual features from world blocks, plus a batched camera for many UAVs.
- Offers a batched environment that simulates many drones in parallel on CPU or GPU.
- Provides a Gymnasium environment, QuadrotorEnv, for reinforcement learning with control from velocity commands down to individual motor speeds.
- Supports custom vehicles, controllers, trajectories, wind fields, and sensors through documented templates.
- Can be installed with pip, with optional extras for batched, learning, testing, and PX4 integration.
