What it does
- Captures a specification model of the ROS 2 packages available in a workspace.
- Captures a deployment model of a currently running ROS 2 system.
- Models can be loaded, manipulated and exported for documentation and interface control documents.
- Writes yaml and pickle outputs by default; the -a option adds json, text and DOT graph output.
- Multi-machine mode uses lightweight remote snapshot services on other machines to associate nodes with hosts.
- Tested under ROS Jazzy, Kilted and Rolling on Ubuntu 24.04.
