What it does
- Runs as a ROS 2 node that accepts dispatch requests through a service and a subscription, plus a batch version of each.
- Loads its event definitions from a folder named by the events_module_path parameter, which must contain an events.py file.
- The events.py file supplies an event dictionary, initial events, a blackboard update hook, a shutdown handler, and a request validator factory.
- Includes a launch file that exposes the node name and events module path so several node instances can be started.
- Organized into three packages: the eventdispatch Python library, ROS 2 message and service interfaces, and the ROS 2 node and launch files.
