What it does
- Connects LLM clients to a robot through the rosbridge node added to an existing ROS setup.
- Lets the model publish and subscribe to topics, call services and actions, set parameters, and read sensor data.
- Helps the model discover topics, services, actions, and their types, including custom ones.
- Works with MCP clients such as Claude Code, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, Claude Desktop, ChatGPT, and Cursor.
- Supports ROS 2 distros such as Jazzy and Humble, as well as ROS 1 distros.
- Examples cover an industrial arm end effector, the Wilson mobile manipulator, and a Unitree Go2 in Isaac Sim.
