What it does

  • Subscribes to a camera image topic and its camera_info topic, both in the same namespace.
  • Detects ArUco markers in incoming images and publishes their poses on an aruco_detections topic.
  • Publishes detected marker poses on TF so they can be visualized in RViz.
  • Publishes a debug image topic with marker frame axes drawn over the camera image.
  • Provides a managed lifecycle node that must be configured and activated, plus an autostart variant.
  • Includes a create_marker script that generates PDF files of ArUco markers with a chosen ID.
