What it does
- Represents serial-link manipulators via Denavit-Hartenberg parameters, URDF import, or over 50 built-in models of well-known robots.
- Provides fast forward kinematics, manipulator Jacobian and numerical inverse kinematics.
- Supports mobile robots with motion models, path planning (bug, D*, PRM, RRT), localization (EKF, particle filter) and SLAM.
- Builds on the Spatial Maths Toolbox for SO(n), SE(n), quaternions, twists and spatial vectors.
- Offers plotting with matplotlib and a browser-based Swift simulator, with an option to load more models via robot_descriptions.
- Designed to be readable and suited to teaching, and backward compatible with the Robotics Toolbox for MATLAB.
