What it does
- Rmf_task provides abstract interfaces for tasks, including booking, description, model and active execution components.
- Rmf_task includes a task planner that allocates requested tasks among fleet robots to minimise completion durations.
- The planner accounts for robot resource constraints such as battery level and inserts recharging tasks when needed.
- Rmf_task_sequence implements tasks as ordered phases made of events such as GoToPlace, PickUp, DropOff, WaitFor and PerformAction.
- Composed tasks are submitted as JSON payloads whose schemas are defined in rmf_api_msgs and rmf_ros2.
- Users can define how a robot reacts to cancellation or interruption at each phase.

Robots that can run it
No robot on Robotheca is linked to it yet. Links come from a robot's robot.yaml, from its dependency files read as text, or from Robotheca's editors.
Robotheca lists software as a reference: nothing is hosted or run here, and every fact links to where it was read.
