What it does

  • Connects to an rc_visard or rc_cube sensor, selected by serial number, user-defined name or internal ID.
  • Publishes rectified left and right images, disparity, depth, confidence and error maps, and point clouds.
  • Exposes runtime parameters for exposure, gain, white balance, gamma, depth filtering and GPIO output modes.
  • Requests data from the sensor only when a topic has subscribers, so unused streams stay off.
  • Offers a service to trigger stereo matching in SingleFrame acquisition mode.
  • Publishes diagnostics on the device and connection status, including reconnect attempts and streaming state.

Getting started

Difficulty
Intermediate
Hardware it needs, as the project states it
A GenTL producer (.cti shared library) is needed to talk to the sensor; rc_genicam_api ships Baumer producers for common architectures.
