What it does

  • Provides a unified framework for many sensor devices, aiming to be easy to extend to new sensors and interfaces.
  • Supports vendor LiDARs including Hesai, Velodyne, Robosense and Continental radars.
  • Launches as a ROS 2 node with default parameters for a chosen sensor model via a launch file.
  • Optional Agnocast support enables IPC zero-copy for pointcloud and blockage mask outputs on Hesai sensors.
  • Vendors can be built selectively with colcon's --packages-up-to flag.
