What it does
- Initializes a connection to the hand over a USB serial port and reads or sets the pose of its five motors.
- Motor positions are encoded as 8-bit integers in the range 0 to 255 for flexion/extension or abduction/adduction.
- The ROS 2 wrapper provides a driver node that can be launched with a launch file.
- It adds an rqt_reconfigure GUI for choosing named poses and adjusting each of the five degrees of actuation.
- Two ROS 2 action servers, MoveHand and MoveHandToNamedPose, move the hand to given positions or to named poses.
- Named poses are read from a YAML configuration file.
