What it does

  • Runs on ARM and other 32-bit MCUs, with drivers for more than 15 processor families sharing one core codebase.
  • Produces precise control pulses, up to 300kHz depending on driver and processor.
  • Accepts standards-compliant G-code, including arcs, circles and helical motion, tested with several CAM tools.
  • Includes acceleration management with look-ahead for smooth motion and cornering.
  • Open plugin architecture allows adding M-codes, settings and event handling without changing core source.
  • Supports a broad set of G- and M-codes, some dependent on driver or configuration, plus lathe and tool-change modes.

Getting started

Difficulty
Intermediate
Hardware it needs, as the project states it
32-bit microcontroller with ample RAM and flash (compared to AVR 328p), requiring a hardware driver for the target processor.
