What it does

  • Converts a YAML parameter specification into a C++ struct or Python module with typed parameters.
  • Generated code handles declaring, getting, validating and updating parameters.
  • Supports dynamic parameters and user-written custom validator functions.
  • Provides built-in validators for values, strings and arrays, such as bounds, one_of and unique.
  • Supports nested structures and mapped parameters keyed by string arrays.
  • Can generate Markdown documentation from the parameter YAML file.
