What it does
- Turns event_camera_msgs event streams into rendered image frames published as ROS image topics.
- Emits frames at a configurable rate, defaulting to 25 Hz.
- Can publish empty frames when events are late or the display node falls behind.
- Offers a time_slice mode that aggregates all events between frames, and a sharp mode that auto-controls event count for crisp features.
- Launched with a ROS 2 launch file; the camera driver is expected to run under a given node name.
- When replaying bags with simulated time, the clock rate must be set much higher than the frame rate.
