What it does
- Decodes event array messages from ROS and ROS2 bags into structured numpy arrays compatible with Prophesee's Metavision SDK format.
- Returns CD events with x, y, polarity and timestamp fields, plus external trigger events.
- Includes a BagReader helper class in its src folder for reading ROS2 bags.
- Handles evt3 and libcaer_cmp encodings, correcting the wraparound and bit noise of evt3 timestamps.
- Explains the three time sources in a recording and how sensor time can be mapped to host time.
- Installable on ROS2 as a package, and tested on Humble, Iron and Rolling under Ubuntu.
