What it does

  • Decodes event camera messages in several encodings, including Prophesee's EVT3 and the libcaer formats from Inivation cameras.
  • Offers a factory that creates a decoder from a message and feeds decoded events to a user-defined processor.
  • Provides decodeUntil() so playback can stop at frame boundaries when synchronizing with frame-based sensors.
  • Reports event timestamps in sensor time, in nanoseconds, and handles EVT3 timestamp wrap-around every 16.77 seconds.
  • Includes a performance measurement tool for decoding raw EVT3 files, intended for developers.
