What it does
- Provides planners such as A* over costmaps, simple maps and NavMap meshes.
- Offers motion controllers including VFF, MPPI, MPC, SeReST, regulated pure pursuit and a simple proportional controller.
- Includes map managers for NavMap meshes, Bonxai and OctoMap voxel maps, Costmap2D layers, and routes editable in RViz.
- Supplies localizers based on NavMap, Costmap2D, multi-hypothesis AMCL, and odometry fusion with robot_localization.
- Adds recovery systems, including a diagnosis-driven one with safety reflexes and priority-based arbitration.
- Each plugin is its own ROS 2 package, registered through pluginlib and loaded at runtime.
