A ROS 2 adapter that exposes a Nav2 NavigateToPose action server backed by EasyNav, so Nav2-compatible clients can drive EasyNav without knowing it is not Nav2.

Made by EasyNavigation.

What it does

  • Accepts every incoming NavigateToPose goal and forwards it to EasyNav through a GoalManagerClient, letting EasyNav decide if the goal is achievable.
  • Republishes EasyNav's navigation state as Nav2 feedback, mapping remaining time and pose into the Nav2 feedback fields.
  • Reports success when EasyNav finishes the goal, and aborts with an error code when EasyNav fails or hits an internal error.
  • Forwards client cancel requests to EasyNav and reports the goal as canceled once EasyNav confirms.
  • A new Nav2 goal preempts the active one, and a goal taken over by another EasyNav client is reported as aborted rather than canceled.
  • Ignores the behavior_tree field of the goal, since EasyNav does not use behavior trees.
